WORK SESSION
1. MULTI-UNIT DESIGN STANDARDS- Staff proposes to amend portions of the Springfield Development Code (SDC) by adding Multi-Unit Design Standards pertaining to building orientation, building form, storage, transition and compatibility between multi-unit and single-family development, open space, landscaping fences and walls, pedestrian circulation, parking, and vehicular circulation; changing allowable building heights in Medium and High Density Residential Districts; and other related changes. The Planning Commission must conduct a public hearing to amend the SDC. The Planning Commission must then decide whether to advise the City Council to approve, approve with conditions or deny the proposed amendments. (Johnson)
