APPLICATION: Vacation of Public Right-of-Way APPLICANT(s) NAME: Scott McKee CASE NUMBER: LRP2007-00024 PROJECT SITE: 18th and “Q” Street; Tax Map 17-03-25-24 Lots 4700, 4800 and 4900 PROJECT PROPOSAL: The area requested for vacation is a roughly triangular portion of 18th Street right-of-way north of the Q Street right-of-way. The established right-of-way for 18th Street runs north-south and intersects Q Street at an oblique angle due to an ‘S’-curve in Q Street between Mohawk Boulevard and 17th Street. The intersection of 18th Street and Q Street has been repositioned such that 18th Street makes a 90º bend to the east and intersects Q Street at a T- intersection. The 18th Street leg of the intersection is stop-controlled. The remaining 184 feet of 18th Street right-of-way south of the intersection with Q Street terminates in a dead- end and vehicle barricade.
