The Planning Commission held a public hearing on a New Use Interpretation on July 5, 2006.
At the conclusion of the hearing, the Commission voted in favor of a motion recognizing a home
improvement center as a permitted use in the Light Medium Industrial (LMI) Heavy Industrial
(HI) and Special Heavy Industrial (SHI) zoning districts. The Commission requested that the
staff submit a Final Order and findings in support of the motion to the Commission for adoption on July 18, 2006.
