WILLAMALANE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN – Willamalane Park and Recreation District (District) is responsible for all elements of park planning in the City of Springfield. This responsibility includes operations, maintenance, programs, acquisitions, planning, development, administration, Board oversight and it also includes compliance with Statewide Planning Goal #8 Recreational Needs. Because the boundaries of the District go beyond the urban growth boundary, the participation of Lane County government in the review and adoption of the Willamalane Park and Recreation Comprehensive Plan (WPRCP) is required.
