QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARING – a. DISCRETIONARY USE/SITE PLAN REVIEW- Thurston Community Baptist Church ZON2003-00029 – Applicant, Roger Tiller, on behalf of the Thurston Community Baptist Church, proposes an expansion of the existing church facility. The new addition will be used as a multi-purpose room for Sunday school, youth activities on Sunday evenings, and a kitchen for social functions of the church. The proposal includes a 4,000 square foot multi-purpose building with accompanying paved parking, storm drainage provisions, and landscaping. Expansion of an existing discretionary use requires Planning Commission approval in accordance with Type III Discretionary Use Review procedures. Planner: Kitti Gale 20 Minutes b. Continuation from 12/16/2003 PEACEHEALTH MASTER PLAN AND ZONE CHANGE DELIBERATION – On November 13, 2003, the Planning Commission opened and continued the public hearing on the PeaceHealth RiverBend Master Plan (LRP2003-0013) and Zone Change (ZON2003-0019) applications. At the December 16, 2003 public hearing continuation, the Planning Commission accepted summation from staff and the applicant and closed the public hearing to begin deliberations. At the conclusion of that evening’s discussions the Commission continued the deliberations to January 6, 2004 and instructed staff to prepare the final Planning Commission Recommendation for adoption.
