Recommendation to the City Council for Draft Development Code Amendments / Bicycle Parking and Improvements – (2000-11-0228) The Planning Commission held work sessions on September 12, 2000 and October 11, 2000, to review and comment on earlier versions of the draft language. At the October 11, 2000, Planning Commission Work Session, the Planning Commission directed staff to investigate the potential for creating bicycle parking requirements for parks that are tied to the specific facilities within the park. The Planning Commission was also interested in establishing a standard distance between lighting poles installed within accessways The proposed amendments to the Development Code text are in conformance with the Metro Plan applicable State statutes and applicable State-wide Planning Goals and Administrative Rules.
