Appeal of Director’s Decision Staff Summation Report 2000-06-0132; 2000-06-0134; 2000-06-0136; 2000-06-0137– At the close of the July 11, 2000 appeal hearing the Planning Commission held open the written record for 7 days in response to a request from Springfield Citizens for Smart Growth (Appellant 2000-06-0132). At the request of Wal-Mart Stores Incorporated the record was extended from July 18 – 25 for rebuttals by all parties, and from July 25 until August 1 for applicant rebuttals. This staff summation responds to oral and written testimony submitted prior to July 25, 2000. The Planning Commission will deliberate and make a decision prior to August 8, 2000 special meeting, no additional public testimony will be accepted. Findings and final decision will be issued no later than August 22, 2000.
