The City had received Appeals of the Planning Director’s Decisions from three parties: Springfield Citizens for Smart Growth (SCSG), Lane Transit District (LTD), and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (Wal-
Mart). The Springfield Citizens for Smart Growth group submitted 4 allegations of error regarding noise abatement, traffic and circulation, and natural resource impacts. LTD alleges 3 errors in the
Decision regarding the lack of complete transit facilities and convenient pedestrian connections between the storefront and public facilities. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., alleges 20 errors concerning site
drainage, landscaping, noise attenuation and access requirements. (Donovan)
