A. MULTI-UNIT DESIGN STANDARDS-
Staff proposes to amend portions of the Springfield Development Code (SDC) by adding Multi-Unit Design Standards pertaining to building orientation, building form, storage, transition and compatibility between multi-unit and single-family development, open space, landscaping fences and walls, pedestrian circulation, parking, and vehicular circulation; changing allowable building heights
in Medium and High Density Residential Districts; and other related changes. The Planning Commission must conduct a public hearing to amend the SDC. The Planning Commission must then
decide whether to advise the City Council to approve, approve with conditions or not to adopt the proposed amendments. (Johnson) CONDUCT OF LEGISLATIVE PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION
