PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE – 2. BUSINESS FROM THE AUDIENCE – 3. LEGISLATIVE PUBLIC HEARING – a. GLENWOOD RIVERFRONT PLAN AMENDMENT – The Planning Commissions of the City of Springfield and Lane County are being asked to review a package of proposed amendments concerning “Subarea 8: The River Opportunity Area” in Glenwood, and forward a recommendation for approval to the Joint Elected Officials of the City of Springfield and Lane County. The specific amendments proposed include the following: Plan Diagram Amendments to the Metro Plan Diagram and the Glenwood Refinement Plan Diagram to change the Plan Designations from “Commercial/ Industrial Multi Family Residential Mixed Use” to “Mixed Use/ Nodal Development; Text amendments to Subarea 8 of the Glenwood Refinement Plan that will add policies to guide the development review process within Subarea 8, and identify zoning districts that will implement the mixed-use plan designation; and AGENDA OF THE SPRINGFIELD PLANNING COMMISSION The meeting location is wheelchair-accessible.
