I am compiling a master list of Issues which must be addressed The Temporary Occupancy of the hospital will be
phased. so not all Items will be ready for inspection at the same time I will be working With PeaceHealth and
Turner Construction to Identify when each of the required Items/areas are ready for inspection I will then
distribute this list With updates to everyone so that everyone has the same understanding regarding what IS
complete

secondary containment prOVided,
. Inspection to venfy that all conditions of the DWP permit are being met (including that hazardous
matenals are stored In secondary containment and the system for hazardous matenallnspectlons,
mOrlltonng, and record keeping IS In place), and
. Placement of permanent wellhead protection signs (as deScribed In DWP notice of deCISion)

Here are few Items on SUB Water's list
Status of easements, yet to be written and sIgned?
Status of cooling water sump
Status of all of our valves, can we locate and get on all of them etc
We stili have metering and backflow Issues on the punch list for the Sacred Heart and CUP buildmgs
They have the work scheduled for thIS week and SUB will schedule an mspectlon next week Backflow
Issues MUST be resolved before March 1

As many of you have already heard. PeaceHealth has requested that the City grant them Temporary Occupancy
of portions of the new hospital beginning March 1. 2008 They anticipate Final Occupancy on June 2. 2008
We are currently working With PeaceHealth to Identify all outstanding Issues/reqUirements
1 We have begun the process of revlewmg the prelimmary PIP as-bUilt drawmgs
2 Peace Health has submitted thell plat application. and a pre-submittal meeting has been set for January 15
Some of you Will be attending thiS meeting
3 We Will be workmg With File to Identify any operational permits which may be requlled
In order to make certain that we have a comprehenSive list of Issues. I am sending out thiS emall to see If any of
you have any Items of concern which I should add to thiS list It would be very helpful to me If you would send me
a qUick email by Jan 7 If you have any Items In addition. If you have any particular concerns regardmg completion
of any Items which have been addressed m the Land Use deCISions Conditions of Approval, please let me know
