Dear Mr. Haines:
Your letter dated December 13, 1978 has been reviewed by the Departmen't
of Public Works and discussed with .the City Manager. Because of the
small (4") intrusion into State owned right-of-way, it is not necessary
to receive City Council approval of a Use Agreement for the brick veneer
encroachment. City of Springfield approval is therefore administratively
granted. '
A copy of this letter is being sent to the Office of the District
Engineer, Oregon State Highway Department, for their review and con-
currence.
