Dear Gary,
It is my understanding that the City of Springfield will be contracting with an out of
area urban design firm with expertise in mixed-use nodal development to aide III
the processing our Pre-Application submittal. While this approach is unusual, we
appreciate the City's willingness to invest in the project in such a manner and we
look forward to participating in this collaborative approach.
As the Pre-Application process moves forward, the project team is also moving
forward as there is much to do yet in developing the Master Plan Among our
current actrvities is our process of further developing the overall vision, including
articulation of building form, site details and pedestrian environments. Enclosed
you will find a set of 3-D perspective sketches we have generated for the Main
Street Retail Village)). We hope this information assists you in your review.
We look forward to working with you on the project. Please inform me of your
anticipated Pre-Application processing schedule as soon as possible as I need to
