- CONPLY A.IV shall be lapped so the flow of watar is over or parallel to, but never agalns!. me laps. All end
laps shall be at least 4- and adjacent end laps shall be at least t2- apart.
EMBED two (2) plies Conply A-IV in shingle fashion, lapping 19- with a \r axposure
EMBED the full width of each sheet In hot asphalt applied at a nominal rate 01 30 lbs. per 100 &q. h. ot root
area. Each ply shall be lightly broomed, using a mOderately soft commercial push broom, as it is applied. An
piles shall be turned up 2- above tha cant and shall be solid mopped to the cenl and vertical watl. Buckles or
fi,hmouths shall be cui and repaired properly.
THE SURFACE to receive coating shan be clean, uniform, smOOlh and dry. Allfishmouths. buckles or dry laps
shall be properly repaired prior to applying coaling.
COAT THE ENTIRE SURFACE with Concoat CC-20 emulSion, applied at a nominal fale of Ihree (3) gallons
per 100 sq. ft. of roof area.
. ALUMINUM COATING shall be applied in stficl compliance with manufactufer's recommendations and applied
al a minimum rate 01 one (1) gallon per 100 sq. It. of roof area.
VALLEYS/WATERWAYS shall receive an extra layer of Conply A.IV which shan be at least 36" wide. II shall ex,
, tend at least 8" up Inclines out of valleys. This ply shall be laid on top 01 base sheel prior to IIppllcallon of
-, other plies. Embed the full width of eaCh ,heet in a unUorm mopping of hot asphalt appliod at a nominal rate

ON SLOPES exceeding 1.Yl" per foot hot asphalt shall be applied atl!. nominal rata of 25 Ibs, POf 100 SQ. ft.

OPTION: The above specillcation may be applied with cold procoss adhesive by effecting the fonowlng

2. Substitute Conbase W.1 IV as a ply sheet wherever Conply A.IV is required.
