ACTION REQUESTED:
Adopt or reject the following resolution:
A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT CITY PROJECT P21133; 2017 SANITARY
SEWER REHAB - B
ISSUE
STATEMENT:
The work on this project has been completed by Wildish Construction, Inc., and final inspection, paperwork and approval has been completed by City Staff. The
Project is now ready for City Council to formally accept the work.

DISCUSSION/
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
This project included the placement of 12 manholes and the corresponding sanitary
sewer pipe between 10th and 16th and B and C Streets. Approximately 2,658 linear feet of 10-in D3034 SDR 35 PVC pipe were installed.
The Council authorized a capital budget for this project of $680,000 in Wastewater funds. This project has been completed with the final cost of $483,805.92 which
consists of $430,489 for the construction contract and $53,326.92 for project
development and administration of the construction contract.
All work done under this contract has been completed and inspected by the City Engineer and found to be satisfactory.

RESOLUTION NO. _______
Acceptance
WHEREAS, work on the improvements described below have been fully completed and
have been duly inspected by the City Engineer of the City of Springfield:
P21133; 2017 SANITARY SEWER REHAB - B WHEREAS, said work was found to be in conformance with the terms of the contracts
now on file in the City Recorder’s office; and,
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Engineer that these improvement projects be accepted and permanently included in the improvement maintenance program of the City of Springfield.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1) The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby accept for future maintenance the above-described projects and accepts said improvements from
the contractors involved.
2) This resolution shall take effect upon adoption by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield, Oregon, this 5th day of
February, 2018.
