ACCEPTANCE OF PROJECT P21118; 42ND AND JASPER ROUNDABOUT
WHITETOPPING
Adopt or reject the following resolution:
A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT CITY PROJECT P21118; 42ND AND JASPER ROUNDABOUT WHITETOPPING
The work on this project has been completed by Wildish Construction, Inc., and
final inspection, paperwork and approval has been completed by City Staff. The
Project is now ready for City Council to formally accept the work.
1. Resolution
This project consisted of the removal of the top 8” of asphalt from the roundabout, the installation of 8” of concrete in its place, and new traffic striping.
The Council authorized a capital budget for this project of $260,000 in Street funds. This project has been completed with the final cost of $190,913.29 which consists
of $137,500.00 for the construction contract and $53,413.29 for project
development and administration of the construction contract.
All work done under this contract has been completed and inspected by the City Engineer and found to be satisfactory.

WHEREAS, work on the improvements described below have been fully completed and
have been duly inspected by the City Engineer of the City of Springfield:
P21118; 42ND AND JASPER ROUNDABOUT WHITETOPPING WHEREAS, said work was found to be in conformance with the terms of the contracts
now on file in the City Recorder’s office; and,
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Engineer that these improvement projects be accepted and permanently included in the improvement maintenance program of the City of Springfield.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1) The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby accept for future maintenance the above-described projects and accepts said improvements from
the contractors involved.
2) This resolution shall take effect upon adoption by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield, Oregon, this 5th day of
February, 2018.
