BACKFILL MATERIAL. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL INSPECTION AND
TESTING WITH THE PROJECT GEOTECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL.
4. PROVIDE SHORING OF ALL TRENCHES AS REQUIRED BY FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES.
5. WHERE CONNECTING TO AN EXISTING PIPE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EXPOSE EXISTING PIPE AND ALLOW THE SURVEYOR TO VERIFY EXACT LOCATION AND
ELEVATION PRIOR TO LAYING NEW PIPE.
6. REQUESTS BY THE CONTRACTOR FOR CHANGES TO THE PLANS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CONSULTING ENGINEER AND THE OWNER BEFORE THE CHANGES ARE
IMPLEMENTED.
7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EMPLOY CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES WHICH WILL MINIMIZE THE EROSION OF DISTURBED GROUND DURING THE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY.

TO ORS 468.740 AND THE FEDERAL CLEAN WATER ACT.
8. WHEN PERFORMING EXCAVATIONS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF OAR 952-001-0010 TO 952-001-0090, WHICH INCLUDE
REQUIREMENTS THAT THE CONTRACTOR HAND -EXPOSE (POT -HOLE) UNDERGROUND FACILITIES AND USE REASONABLE CARE TO AVOID DAMAGING THEM.
9. PROVIDE DUST CONTROL AT ALL TIMES.
10. ALL STRIPPINGS SHALL BE REMOVED FROM SITE BY CONTRACTOR.
11. PONDS SHALL BE TILLED, FINE GRADED AND HYDROSEEDED UPON COMPLETION. NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC OR STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS SHALL BE
PERMITTED AFTER TILLING.
12. LANDSCAPE BLOCK OR SHORT RETAINING STRUCTURES TO BE PLACED, WHERE SHOWN, AS NECESSARY TO MATCH ADJACENT GRADE.
13. LENGTHS, AREAS, AND QUANTITIES SHOWN ARE FOR REFERENCE ONLY AND ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE USED FOR BID PURPOSES. CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD

1. AC PAVING SHALL BE 4" LEVEL 2 HMAC OVER 12" CRUSHED ROCK.
