GROUNDWATER PROTECTION
DURING CONSTRUCTION
1. THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS MUST BE OBSERVED DURING CONSTRUCTION:
• DNAPL CHEMICALS ARE PROHIBITED AT THIS SITE. THE CONTRACTOR AND ALL
SUBCONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE OWNER'S ENGINEER WITH COPIES
OF MSDSS FOR ALL CHEMICALS PROPOSED FOR USE ON-SITE PRIOR TO USE OR
DELIVERY TO THE PROPERTY. BASED ON THESE MSDSS, THE ENGINEER WILL
DETERMINE IF THE CHEMICAL IS APPROVED FOR USE ON THIS SITE (I.E., WHETHER OR
NOT THE PRODUCT CONTAINS DNAPLS). THE ENGINEER MAY CONTACT THE SUB
DRINKING WATER SOURCE PROTECTION COORDINATOR (541-7443745) WITH ANY
QUESTIONS ABOUT EVALUATING PRODUCTS FOR DNAPLS. A COPY OF THE MSDS FOR
ALL CHEMICALS USED ON THE PROJECT WILL REMAIN ON THE JOB SITE AS REQUIRED BY

CONSTRUCTION AND PERMANENTLY AT EACH BUILDING AND ADJACENT TO THE SWALE(S).
THE SIGNS ARE INTENDED TO ALERT CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACTORS, EMPLOYEES,
TENANTS, AND OTHERS TO THE IMPORTANCE OF REPORTING AND CLEANING UP ANY
SPILLS (SIGN STANDARD AVAILABLE). PLEASE CONTACT AMY CHINITZ (541-7443745) TO

DURING CONSTRUCTION
1. THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS MUST BE OBSERVED DURING CONSTRUCTION:
• DNAPL CHEMICALS ARE PROHIBITED AT THIS SITE. THE CONTRACTOR AND ALL
SUBCONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE OWNER'S ENGINEER WITH COPIES
OF MSDSS FOR ALL CHEMICALS PROPOSED FOR USE ON-SITE PRIOR TO USE OR
DELIVERY TO THE PROPERTY. BASED ON THESE MSDSS, THE ENGINEER WILL
DETERMINE IF THE CHEMICAL IS APPROVED FOR USE ON THIS SITE (I.E., WHETHER OR
NOT THE PRODUCT CONTAINS DNAPLS). THE ENGINEER MAY CONTACT THE SUB
DRINKING WATER SOURCE PROTECTION COORDINATOR (541-7443745) WITH ANY
