DeFor~ Chief of POI~ Springfield, Oregon ~ From: Subject: Dance Hall License Approval Conditions The Springfield City Council has approved your application for a dance hall license to conduct dances at the Hardknox facility located at 630 Main Street subject to implementation and continuation of the following conditions: 1, No alcoholic beverages will be permitted or consumed on the premises and no person under the age of 18 years will be allowed admission to any dance authorized by this license, 2, No ticket shall be sold or accepted for admission to any dance after 12:00 midnight. However, permission is granted to continue the dance no later than 2:30 am, 3, Licensee shall provide sufficient trained security staff to maintain order within and in the immediate area outside the dance hall facility to include control of patron entry and exit to minimize congregation and loitering of persons outside, 4. Licensee shall ensure clean up of any refuse or litter within the immediate area and lldjacent business properties immediately upon conclusion of any dance, These conditions are in addition to conditions included in the City Dance Hall License Ordinance related to inspection (City Code 8-5-6), lighting (8.5-8), intoxicated persons (8-5-9) and smoking , . (8-5-10), In accordance with City Code 8-5-5 this license may be revoked by the City at any time for violation of these conditions, City Council has directed the license be reviewed in six months (October 1997) cc: Dave Puent, DSD
