Dear Business Owner:

Our records indicate that on April 5, 2000, plans were submitted to our office for the proposed installation
of a security monitoring and reception area in the north end of the cafe located at 602 Main Street,
Springfield, Oregon. To date, the required additional information needed to complete the plan review has
not been submitted and the plan review has expired.
The Springfield Building Safety Codes Administrative Code states that "Applications for which no permit is
issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitation, and plans and other data
submitted for review may thereafter be ren.med to the applicant or destroyed by the Building Official." The
Code further states that, "The Building Official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period
not exceeding 180 days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances beyond the control of the
applicant have prevented action from being taken. No application shall be extended morc than once. In
order to renew action on an application after expirntion, the applicant shall resubmit plans and PIlY a new
plan review fee."
Please contact me within ten (10) days from the date of this letter if you would like to make arrangements to
pick up your plans. If I do not hear from you within this timeframe, the plans will be destroyed,
