Division Staff must be able to contact appropriate

II. Abbreviated Plumbing, Mechanical, & Electrical Schedules
A. Except where blank spaces occur in the description
portion of the Mechanical and Electrical Schedules,
the applicant need fill-in only the No. Boxes adjacent
to the appropriate item(s) to be installed
B. Full Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Schedules
are available at the Building Division
1. To conserve space on the permit form the schedules
have been abbreviated
2. If the item(s) to be installed are not covered on .
the abbreviated schedules you should consult the
full schedules
C. BUILDING DIVISION STAFF WILL FILL OUT ALL FEES AND
CHARGES ON THE SCHEDULES
0, As noted on the CAP, the label must be delivered to the
electrical contractor for signature by his electrical
supervisor. The general contractor is .not authorized
to sign the electrical label. ---
III. Applicant to sign and date
Whenever possible, the initial application will be used as
a worksheet only. Where possible, Building Division Staff
will prepare a type written copy and return it to the
applicant at the time the actual permit is issued for his
signa ture.
IV. Fees and Charges
Plan check fees are due and payable at the time of the
application, and no plans will be processed until these
fees are paid. All other fees and charges are due and
payable when the permit is issued.

SUBJECT: proposed Storage Lot adjacent to South l~th Street
between Main and South 'A' Street.
Dear Mr. sull i van ,
This is in response to your letter of January 17, 1985 in which
you requested permission to: enclose a portion of Tax Lot 96~~
with a six foot high chain link fence; use the lot for storage
of cars, trucks, IIIOtor homes, and possibly boats or campers;
gravel the lot rather than pave it, and; have the City make
improvements to the alley separating your budget lot from your
used car lot.
I spoke to several members of the Development Review Committee
to elicit their response to specific points raised in your
letter. There was a general agreement that you could proceed as
desired provided the following conditions were satisfied:
1. No portion of the fence shall encroach on the South l~th
Street right-of-way or the alley right-of-way.
2. In the event the fence 'or vehicles parked in the storage lot
create a sight distance obstruction to traffic on either
l~th Street or the alley, the fence will be relocated to
provide adequate sight distance.
3. The lot cannot be used as an auto sales lot unless it is
paved with a dust free surface.
4. The City will grade and gravel the alley if you purchase the
gravel. The City will improve the alley if a majority of
the property owners peti tion for such improvement. The cost
of this improvement will be assessed against the abutting
properties. Bancroft financing is currently unavailable.

5. Should the alley ever kwu.; paved you will be required to
install an asphalt driveway of sufficient length to prevent
tracking of gravel from your storage lot into the alley.
6. The eastern perimeter of this lot should be landscaped with
plant materials not exceeding 30 inches in height.
