Field Observations and Comments
As requested, a PSI representative was on-site to observe exposed subgrade soils for the proposed alleyway just north
of existing building (see attached site plan), The area was relatively firm and stable with soil probe penetrations of 4 to 6
inches. Exposed subgrade soils were either native red-brown/dark gray silty clay/day silt or crushed rock, Excavation
depths ranqed from 12 to 24 inches below performed usinq an excavator with a smooth bladed bucket.
