Field Observations and Comments
as requested. a PSI representative was on-site to observe exposed subgrade soils for the proposed new alley just south
of existing building and west of 9th Street (see attached site plan). Excavation was performed using an excavator with
smooth biaded bucket. Exposed soils appeared to be red-brown and dark gray clay on the south half of the alley, and
crushed rock on the north half, Soil probes on the clay soils were 6 to 8 inches indicating a relatively firm and stabie
surface,
