As you requested I performed a site soils inspection on January 27, 2005 at the above
noted location, During :hat inspection I made the following obsenrations
The native soil fine fraction is a silty clay loam of moderate density More then h the
material 'Win pass a #200 sieve. See the attached site analysis from GeoScIence Dated
August 6, 2003
The site is cut so that it follows the native grade and covered with 3/4 inch minus crushed
quarry rock placed in three-inch lifts The finished depth of the fill is approximately 18 _
24 inches in depth. The crushed Tock was compacted with a vibratory roUer. Drainage for
the gravel pad was installed per my recommendations at the time of my inspection The
fill as prepared is adequate to support a single-family residence With the foundatIon
design pressures at the bottom of the footings to have a maximum pressure of 1500 PSF.
