As you requested I per7uu..ed a site soils inspection on January 20, 2005 anhe above
noted location. During that inspection I made the following observations.
The native soil fine fraction is a silty clay loam of moderate density. More then ~ the
material wilt pass a #200 sieve. See the attached site analysis from GeoScience Dated
August 6, 2003,' ' . . .
The site is cut so that it follows the native grade and covered with 3/4 inch minus ClUshed
quarry rock placed in three-inch lifts. The finished depth of tile fill is Bf't"'u,Jmately 18 -
24 inches in depth. The crushed rock was compacted with a vibratoIY roller. Drainage for
the gravel pad was installed per my recommendations at the time of my inspection The
fill as prepared is adequate to support a single-family residence witb the foundation
desi,gn pressures at the bottom of the footings to have a maximum pressure of 1500 PSF
