As you requested 1 performed a site soils mspect\On on January 20, 2005 at the above
noted locatIon DUrIng that mspect\On I made the following observations
The natIve soil fine fractIon is a silty clay loam of moderate denSIty More then Yz the
materIal wIll pass a #200 sieve See the attached site analysIs from GeoScience Dated
August 6, 2003
The site is cut so that It follows the native grade and covered with 3/4 inch minus crushed
quarry rock placed in three-inch lifts The fimshed depth of the fill is approximately 18 -
24 inches in depth The crushed rock was compacted with a vibratory roller Drainage for
the gravel pad was installed per my recommendations at the tIme of my inspection The
fill as prepared is adequate to support a single-famIly residence with the foundatIon
deSIgn pressures at the bottom of the footll1gs to have a maxImum pressure of 1500 PSF
