Inc. has made site inspections to evalua-:e the suitaoility of select gra'lular fill placed on the foundation pad for tf'Ie subject new residel'llial projec~ The scope of our work included v,sual inspec;tjons and this raport. INVESTIGATION AND FINDINGS The PI'O]OC.t site Is located on relatively flat grOi.ln,j on the south side of Main Street FOl.JndaUon pad construction invoived stripping approximately D.5-tfet of surface organics, creating a level pad on undlsturoec native s:lts, arid placement of dpproxirrrately 1 ,0 to 2.5-feet of granl.:/ar fill or the prepared subgrade. The granlJiar fill consists of 0.5 to 1.5-feer of 3-inch open grade crushed Quarty stone covered with approximately 3 to 4-inches of 1 Yz-inch minus dense graded crushed aggregate. SUMM~RY AND RECOMMENDATIONS Based '~n cur observations in the field, t~e granular 1f11, as placed, ,JS suitable to Slipport the prcposed conventional cast-in-place concrete spread foundation system.
