Inspection of: Reinforcing Sleel Weather: Clear Continuous Inspection: 0

Contractor: Meili Construction
Performed inspection on the reinforcing steel and post-tension lendons for second floor
slab. Site visits were made on December 20 and 27, 2006. Reinforcing steel was
checked for grade, size, lap, placement and clearance. Tendon quantities,
anchorages, profiles and supports were also checked. Tendons and rebar were
secured with tie-wire and supported with plastic chairs and slab bolsters. Deck surface
and drop caps were relatively clean and free of excess debris. Distributed tendons
along line 3.8 between D.4 and G were relocaled as per EOR's verbal instructions to
contractor to eliminate excess curvature tendons. Advised by Curt Dawson (Meili
Construction) that concrete placement is scheduled for tomorrow AM.
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with PTC .
drawings dated 11-06, plans dated 08-30-06 and applicable workmanship provisions of .
the I.B.C., except if noted above. Contractor was asked to notify our office when
additional services are needed.
