Performed inspection on the reinforcin9 steel in the 8" CMU walls on line G, from 1 to 6
(16'0" to top). Reinforcing steel was checked for grade, size, lap, spacing, quantity and
clearances, where applicable. Cells were relatively clean and free' of excessive mortar
projections. Observed the placement of 2.5 yards of MBI 7.5 sack grout (Mix 712-G).
Grout was placed by pump and was mechanically consolidated. Grout slump 8+"; grout
temperature 560F; and air temperature 440F. Note: Grout was not placed in last t5' at
both ends of wall to avoid filling bond beams containing 1#3 horizontal rebar for lintels on
lines 1 and 6 which are not yet constructed.
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with revised plans
dated 08-30-06 and applicable workmanship provisions of the I.B.C., except if noted
above. Curt Dawson (Meili Construction) was asked to notify our office when additional
services are needed.
