. Plan review - Remodel for temporary
occupancy of main floor only - mezzanine and
upper floor remain unfinished. Remodel will
occur as funds become available

1. Complete the construction of the shear walls
2. Isolate all electrical circuits for the 2nd floor
and other unused portions of the building -
remove the breakers from those circuits.
3. Provide a full fire alarm system submittal for
review by the Fire Marshal's office
4. Fire blocking shall be completed in all walls
where deficient.
5. Stairway shall be rendered innaccesible by
constructing a wall across the opening. No
second floor access or use will be permitted.
Any use of the upper floor or mezzanine will
cause a revocation of occupancy.
6. Exit lighting and emergency egress lighting
shall be provided in accordance with 1998
Oregon Structural Specially Code.
7. The Storage/Elevator area (rear of building)
shall be rendered innaccesible via a
construction separation.
8. Access to the electrical panel shall be
maintained
9. No Smoking signs shall be posted
throughout.
10. No extension cords permitted
Plan review of alarm system submittal for Art
center renovation - this sytem is required by
agreement with the City of Springfield I order
to meet grant requirements. (This is not
required by Building or Fire Code)
