No. 5-RW.13121 shall be considered part of this specification. Drainage Roof decks must be graded to drain all water freely. Drains shall be sufficient in number and size to assure rapid elimination of water from the roof surface. Nailing Ply felts must be back nailed on inclines exceeding 2" per foot. On slopes between 2" and 3" per foot. back nailing shall not exceed a foot on center. On slopes greater than 3" per foot, back nailing shall not exceed 48" on center. Felts are to run parallel to the incline and must be secured 18" in from the back edge of the felt. Each nail must be covered by succeeding plies.
