IMPACT:
This project involved the installation of public improvements to serve Nittany
Meadows located on South 32nd Street between Agnes Stewart Middle School and the
railroad tracks. The improvements include 964 feet of six-inch and eight-inch sanitary
sewer, 526 feet often-inch and 12-inch storm pipe, two sanitary manholes, two storm
manholes, four curb inlets, 477 feet of two-lane, 28-foot-wide street, 421 feet of
concrete sidewalks, three street lights and signs and striping.
The developer of the project is Dale Kast. All work has been inspected by Branch
Engineering Inc., and the City Engineer and found to be satisfactory.
We do not have a final construction cost for this project, as it was privately
engineered, built and financed. There is no other financial impact to the City other
than future maintenance responsibilities.
