PSI representative observed stripping of organics contaminated fill from lots 81 through 90 The native SOil subgrade In
thiS area IS potentially expansive clay ApprOXimately 6 Inches of organics contaminated fill was left above subgrade'to
reduce potential SOil erosion problems which may arrse when wet weather begins ThiS grade at an elevation of 486 60'
referenced to approximately 50' north of face of curb at station 6+35 does not represent an acceptable grade for
construction purposes
PSI representative observed Exploratory test pit excavation Within lot #122 for purposes of Identifying and accepting
subgrade The test pit was excavated approximately 45' north of face'of curb at station 12+2403 on Ambleslde Drrve
Clean, strrpped subgrade was encountered at 4 90' below eXisting ground elevation of approximately 524 10' The
'ubgrade appeared fIrm PSI representatIve observed backfill placement In pothole excavation of five (5) l' lifts which
,,,ere hoe-packed before succeeding lifts were placed SOil probe rod penetrations averaged 1/2 Inch In all lifts
PSI representative observed removal of strlpplngs stockpiled With lot #117 Subgrade was encountered at an elevation
of 51070 referenced to approximately ,90' south of face of curb at station 5+50 on Ospry Drrve The subgrade appeared
well strrpped and firm ThiS IS an acceptable result
