199 Deadmonds Ferry Road Spnngfleld, Oregon
On December 30,2007 an Inspection and site survey for asbestos containing
bUilding matenals was conducted at the above-mentioned address From the
homogeneous list of bUilding matenals established, Roofing, window glazing
compound, ceiling and wall textures, drywall composites, plaster wall composites
and floonng matenals were sampled and analyzed by an Independent laboratory,
Schneider Laboratones
The results indicated that asbestos was present In the sheet Vinyl matenalln the
kitchen floor only
On May 6, 2008 the asbestos containing bUilding matenals found In thiS
Investigation were properly abated by the Pacific EnVironmental Group Inc of
Eugene, Oregon The waste generated IS scheduled to be disposed of at the
Lane County Solid Waste Disposal FaCilities Asbestos Disposal Site

ThIs documentatIOn IS for archIval purposes only and WIll not affect the grantmg of
the demohtIOn permIt If the structure IS very large or comphcated the
documentatIOn process may take up to a maxImum of 4 workIng days
DocumentatIOn WIll consIst of photographmg the bmJ.dmg, takIng measurements and
makIng scaled draWIngs The documentation WIll be undertaken by the CIty at no cost
to you DocumentatIOn IS bemg done on all structures dated pnor to 1940 that may
have hIstonc Importance to the CIty'S development
THIS DOCUMENTATION WILL NOT IMPEDE THE DEMOLITION PROCESS.
An age cut-off of 1940 was chosen because thIS IS the date that the National Parks
SerVIce and The Spnngfield Development Code use to determme potential hIstonc
sIgmficance
