RE: Required Plumbing Permit
Dear Proprietor:
Recently it was brought to our attention that a, backf10w prevention device
was installed at your address. Our records indicate that no permits were
obtained from our office for the installation of this device.

Section 20.4(a) of the Oregon Plumbing Specialty Codes provides in part:
Permit Required
20.4 (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to install,
remove alter repair or replace or cause to be installed,
removed, altered, repaired or replaced any plumbing or
drainage piping work or any fixture or water heating or
treating equipment in a building or premises without first
obtaining a permit to do such work from the Administrative
Authori ty.
