RE: 25 and 27 D Street, Springfield, Oregon
Dear Mr. Lopez:
Our records indicate that on March 26, 2007, plans were submitted to our office for the
proposed addition to an existing single family residence to add a living unit at the above
referenced location. The plans for this project indicated the addition would be 922 square
feet. The plan review was approved at that time, but has now expired. If you wish to
proceed with this project, new plans will need to be submitted and a new plan review fee
paid.
The Springfield Building Safety Codes Administrative Code states that "Applications for
which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire
by limitation, and plans and other data submitted for review may thereafter be returned to
the applicant or destroyed by the Building Official." The Code further states that, "The
Building Official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not
exceeding 180 days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances beyond the
control of the applicant have prevented action from being taken. No application shall be
( extended more than once. In order to renew action on an application after expiration, the
applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a new plan review fee."
As agreed, please contact me within the next 30 days from the date of this letter if you
would like to make arrangements to pick up your plans. If I do not hear from you within
this timeframe, the plans will be destroyed.
If you have any questio~,.please feel.free to phone me at 541-726-3790.
