I just got a call a few minutes ago from them and they do want the concurrence. They don't feel the fact the the loan was on the house matters it that there IS a loan out on the property or some portion thereof. From: GALE Kltti Sent: Friday, March 21, 2008 2:12 PM To: ERNST Dennis Cc: MOORHEAD Chris; PAULY Linda; MARKARIAN Molly Subject: Meyers Estates/Jokinen Subdivision Plat Application Good Afternoon, Dennis I n a phone conversation With property owner Terry Jokinen (726-6721), I was advised that the mortgage holder of her property tax lot 304 has refused to sign an Affidavit of Consent pertaining to the subdivIsion of nelghbonng parcels Terry IS also puzzled about why the company, BenefiCial Finance, should have to sign off on a document when tax lot 304 was not reconfigured In any way (Jokinen's other mortgage company, Brant Finance, who holds the mortgage on tax lot 300 did sign an Affidavit of Consent) BenefiCial's corporate Chicago headquarters IS telling the local office representative, Athena Davls( 343-7771) that BenefiCial has "never" signed an affidavit like the one being circulated, they do not have a 'process' for the affidavit There are several extenuating circumstance surrounding this plat application that require that the process be completed pnor to my retirement from the City next Fnday, March 28th I thought that we were ready for the applicant's surveyor to submit the Final Plat Application and get the mylars signed, however It appears that there may be one more Item to sort through This particular subdiVISion has had several unusual aspect to It because It partnered With a non-profit housing developer, they were proposing a cluster divISion on a nelghbonng property, the property owner, Steve Jokinen, completed much of the physical work himself, and, upon his death his widow, Terry, had to pick up the project Thank you for your aSSistance, Dennis We will discuss the details as you receive them 3/25/2008
