of the Floodplain Overlay District Development Standards must be addressed by the
applicant. Incomplete applications, as well as insufficient or unclear data, will delay the
application review process and may result in denial.

Floodplain Overlay District Development Description
The following document describes the proposal concerning the Shew Family
addition.
There is an existing single story addition constructed in, approximately, the
1960's. The structure i~ built on a pier block foundation with 2x4 constructed
walls. The dimensions are 15ft N-S and 15 ft E-W. This living area will be
removed and replaced with a larger 2-story addition built to code. The older floor
level is at an elevation of approximately 496 ft.
The new addition will replace the existing structure and be updated to meet
all current codes. The addition footprint will expand 5 ft N-S and 3 ft E-W. The
new dimension will be 20' N-S and 18' E-W. A permanent cement foundation will
be added and the floor level will be raised to an elevation of 499.54 ft. This raises
the floor height approximately 3' above the older portion to be demolished. There
will be no fill or grade modifications. The new structure comer elevations, at
grade, are listed below:

height of 499.54 ft. All dimensions are shown on the 3 Plot Plans provided. Also
provided are copies of the Survey document and Deed showing that Leland Shew
and Teri Shew purchased the home and lot in 2000. '
