Subject: Courtesy Inspection at 433 Harlow Road Springfield, Oregon.
ATT: Ms. Winterstien
At the request of ~our tenant, the Springfield Building Saf~ty Division
recently conducted an inspection of your property at the above address.
The inspection revealed items which do not meet the minimum City Housing
Code requirements and must be corrected. They consist of the following:
Structural
1. All habitable rooms shall be furnished with an approved heat source which
is capable of maintaining a temperature of 68 degrees measured at a point
three feet above the floor. The living room and bedrooms are presently . ''''".''
without an approved heat source. The continued use of portable heaters is
not an approved source of heat and creates a potential hazard to the
building occupants.
Plumbing

2. The bathroom lavatory is not properly secured in place., All fixtures
shall be maintained in stable condition properly secured to the structure.
3. Sink and lavatory faucets are leaking a considerable amount of water. ,The,"
condition of the valve seats should be inspected for possible damage and
repaired or replaced as appropriate.
Due to present weather conditions, a permanent heat source shall be
installed immediately. The other repairs shall be completed within 30
days from the date of this letter.

Please note that installation of electrical systems on property which is
intended for lease, sale or rent must be, done by an electrical contractor
