Backfill completed for footing bearing. Material is compacted to
non-yielding density acceptable for support of footings.
Excavated material removed resembles. the surface CH clay
material. Lot slopes to the west with cut depth located at east
wall and fill area located at we$t.wall.
Backfill is topped wih crushed rock material for levelling prior
to footing construction. The methods and details conform to the
original recommend~tions noted in our letter of July 26, 1978
with the conclusions reached with J. Q. Tomkins, Engineering
Geologist.
One area of concern is the finish grade slope at the west footing
to the property line which could result in a steep surface. The
base of footing bearing is above adjacent grade and should be
protected from possible future erosion.
