OR 97477 (503) 726-3753 November 9, 1989 Mr. Michael Watson Watson's Glass III Main Street Springfield, OR 97477 .~ Dear Mr. Watson: Although the recent circumstances which have led to your citation are unfortunate, the record of events, beginning in 1988 and proceeding to date, show the City's action came only after a lengthy period of unsuccessful attempts to resolve this matter. However, because the objective of our enforcement program is corrective, not punitive, we still hope to resolve the problem before judicial remedy is necessary. To that end, we will agree to the following. suggestions made by you and Realynn Weiseth during your meeting with Mike Kelly on November 8, 1989. 1. That a final site plan, incorporating all requirements of the October 17, 1989 letter from Gary Karp, will be submitted to this office by November 9, 1989. 2. That a completed Improvement Agreement, signed by Vern Swenson, will be submitted to this office by November 17, 1989. 3. That the citation will be amended to identify Mr. Watson as Michael J.,Watson, DBA Watson's Glass. In' addition to the"preceding agreements, we will also extend the deadline for installation' of all ',required improvements, includin'g landscaping' and bollards connected bfY cthatin, frodm Novembter Id7t'h1989d ,tolNovemfber 29t' 19t89.
