The construction of our new home in the Thurston hills is basically complete. We have
complied with all codes and regulations governing new residental construction and have
obtained all necessary inspections. The only element that we are unable at this time to
complete is the backfilling around the foundation.
Our home is located on the downhill slope of the hillside. The extremely wet winter
conditions have left the soil too wet to operate heavy equipment. Once the soil is
adequately dried out, we intend to backfill and begin landscaping, We have already planted
the required number of sidewalk trees in our front yard and intend to have our home
landscaped by fall 1997.
Please accept this letter as our acknowledgement of the backfill requirement and our intent
to backfill as soon as soil conditions allow.
