In going through our files we came across a building permit fo~:

The 1979 Oregon State Building Code, Section 303(d) , explains that any building per-
mit for "hich "ork is not started within 180 days of issuance, or if "ork is suspended
for a period of 180 days, the building permit shall expire by limitation and become
null and void. If conditions beyond your control have prevented you from proceeding
on this project, please submit a letter stating the circumstances and if conditions
warrant the Building Official may extend your application for a specified period of
time. If this building permit is allowed to expire, it will be necessary to obtain
a new building permit and a permit fee amounting to one-half of the original permit
fee for such work will be due.
If we do not hear from you within the next ten days we will assume that you have can-
celled this project and we will clear our files of all related material. If you'have
any questions concerning this matter call the Springfield Building Division at 726-
3753.
