Dear Lome,
This letter is in response to questions raised in your review of our remodeling
plans. Since the numbers on the "correction and alternation" sheet, which you
gave me, correspond with those on the plans, I will reference each item using
those same numbers.
Although it was not apparent in the drawings submitted, it is our intent
to construct option "B". Because of that fact, as we discussed, items #6, 17,
28, and 30 are no longer of consequence or relationship to this project.
(tern No.
12. The additional roof drainage created by our addition, snail De iiuked
as specified, by approved method to the existing storm drainage system,
16. Again, we apologize for the incompleteness of the blueprints submitted.
Your assumption that a 3 post configuration would be used to support
the main floor beam is correct. 1 have attached a sketch of our
intended method of connection, between the beam and the support post,
for your review.
34. A review of the existing lighting and H. V,A.c. System indicated that
no additional modifications were necessary in either category.
41. Prior to installing the ceiling insulation a plywood baffle will be
installed to preclude any insulating material from obstructing the
vent screen, [n addition, the insulation installed will be held such
as to provide a minimum I" air space from the bottom of the roof
sheeting to the insulating material for the purpose of the property
ventilating the rafter space. See my attached sketch for method of
baffle installation.
46. Attached is our assumed layout for the drafting tables that I had
indicated would be utilizing this additional space. Although the
actual layout will be determined by the tenant, I am sure it will be
very similar to our proposed layout.

47. Since this addition extends out the rear of the eXlstmg structure,
their is no conflict with existing paving, access or parking.
48. Attached is a copy of the deed, showing ownership to the former
Southern Pacific Railroad Right-of-Way, by Sycan B Corporation as
requested.
Hopefully, Lome, this will satisfy your concerns over a number of items
pertaining to our project. In the event We have failed to put your mind at
ease or zhould you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us
at 746-8444.....we will be happy to help you wherever we can.
Sincerely,
