If the walls have Insulation should there also be a vapor barner Installed on the warm air side of the wall? If the room needs to be protected pressure-wise due to the FM 200 system, should the man door have a smoke seal and a door bottom? Do the electncal outlets have a need to be fire caulked due to the smoke/gas potential? While the FM200 gas by Itself IS not harmful as It IS the same gas used by people who use an Inhaler due to asthma, when this gas comes Into contact with open flame It turns Into carbon monoxide Just wanted to make sure to what extent we take this protection Suggestion Answe! Date Answ~ed:. 3!t11j20,Q8 Include thermal insulation and a vapor retarder In all of the walls that surround Room 2135 (the Insulation and vapor retarder, which will be Installed on the "warm" side of the walls, shall extend up to the underside of the structure above) Also, prOVide a smoke seal and door bottom sweep or seal Finally, caulk the electncal outlets to minimiZe smoke/gas Infiltration Add these costs to the proposal assOCiated with RFP #80 Prolog Manager Printed on 3/6/2008 PM7Database Page 1 of 1
