ORIGINALLY THIS WAS INTENDED TO BE A CONTINUOUS HrADrR.
HOWEVER. IT WAS CHANGED TO A TWO-PIECE HEADER GECAUSE OF
THE TENDENCY OF SECOND-GROWTH BEAMS, cunRENTLY AVAILAJL[, TO
TWIST.
I CAN SEE NO REASON WHY A CONTINUOUS HEADEn, IF
THE GEAM IS .AIRLY STRAIGHT GRAINED, SHOULD NOT WORK AS
WELL A5 A TWn-?IECE HEADER.
