Subject: Temporary.Occupancy at 2850 Gateway Street Springfield, Oregon.
Proposed Use: Movies 12-Theater

Temporary Occupancy has been granted at the above address for a period of
50'days from the date of this notice.
This certificate is issued pursuant to the requirements of Section 307(d)
of the Springfield Building Safety Code Administrative Code, certifying
that portions of the building may be used prior to completion of the items
described below.
The following items shall be completed and inspected within the granted
period for Temporary Occupancy.
Structura 1
I. Install fire protection enclosures over recessed light fixtures (4 ea.) at
the north concession area.
2. The seismic bracing requirement must be resolved regarding the use.of
struts by either installing the required 'vertical struts at all braced
locations or provide substantiating calculations prepared by an Oregon
licensed architect or engineer which shows that the struts are not
required for this installation.
3.' Install the Fire Department knox box at the approved location as soon as
it is available.
4. Install address numbers on the building facing the parking area where it
is plainly visible and legible from the fire lane fronting on the building.
5. Provide this office with the requested weld inspection report from a
certified welding inspector, for field welds at the free-standing sign

near the Gateway Street entrance. (This was requested from the sign
contractor at the time the sign was inspected)
The above items shall be completed and approved by inspection from this
office within the above stated time period after which final occupancy for
the building will.be granted. In the event that these requirements are
not satisfactorily' completed, Temporary Occupancy will expire and the
building shall be ordered vacated until such requirements are completed
unless this'Grant of Temporary Occupancy is extented in writing by the
Building Official.
