Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith:
~
...
On November 22, 1995, a..;t'emporary Occupancy was granted to you to occupy the single family residence
located at 6842 Holly Street, Springfield, Oregon. As a condition of the Temporary Occupancy, you were
required to plant one <I> street tree within 30 days of the occupancy approval. On November 22, 1995, a
cash deposit in the amount of $250.00 was placed with the City which allowed me to grant your
Temporary Occupancy approval. Placing a cash deposit with the City for the trees did not extend the
approval of your Temporary Occupancy.
An inspection of your r-.r ._<,. will be conducted within 10 to 14 days from the date of this letter to ensure
the required street trees have been planted. If they have been planted, your deposit will be returned to the
person and/or company who initially paid the deposit to the City. If the trees have not been planted, the
cash deposit will be forfeited to the City and I will refer this matter to the City's Code Enforcement Officer
begin the civil infraction process whicb will result in the issuance of a citation.
If you have any questions, please feel free to phone me at 72~652 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. or
4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Sincerely, .
