As you requested, a compaction inspection of the gravel under the proposed foundation has been
perfol1l1ed on ihis site ill p;'eparl1tion fur the constructior.inl'olving f()Wldations for the propos~j
residence. The excavation involved the placement of 3/4" minus crushed rock. The compacted
surfuce of the crushed rock is adequate for a foundation bearing capacity of 1000 pst: The underlying
soil conditions, site drainage and foundatinn were not designed or reviewed by Mortier Engineering,
P.C. The compaction of the gravel surface is greater than 95% ofa standard proctor, per ASTM
D698-91. (See attached data sheet).
