Dear Mr. Brigl:,
Our records indicate that on November 27, 1989,_ plans were submitted
to pave the lot at 4971 Highbanks Road, Springfield', Oregon. ,To date
the plans and required permits for this construction have not been
~tdn~. ' ,
Section 304 of the Springfield Building Safety Code Administrative
Code provides .in part: "Applications for which 'no perinit is issued
within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by
limitation, and plans and, other data 'submitted for review may
thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the Building
Official. The Building Official may extend the time for action by the,
applicant for a period not to exceed 180 ,days upon request 'by the
applicant showing that circumstances beyond the control of the
applicant have prevented action from being taken. NO'application
shall be extended more than'once. In order to 'renew action on an
application after expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans and
pay a new plan review fee." '
Prior to this office destroying your plans, you have two options to
consider.
1. If you have decided not to build at this time, but would like your
plans returned to you, you will need to pick them.up, at this'office
within ten (10) days of receipt of this notice.
2. To write and request that a 180 day extension be granted,
,explaining the circumstances that have prevented you from obtaining
your permits. ,
